WHO SUPPORTS PUBLIC OWNERSHIP OF WATER ?

GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGN DAYs in Westminster

The Sewage Campaign Network, sponsored by MPs Anna Dixon, Clive Lewis and Roz Savage brought grassroots campaigners to Westminster in March and in September. The Petition Debate on Holding a Referendum to put Water into Public Ownership was on the 14th September and over 70 MPs attended with 64 managing to speak and of those 50 supported public ownership, 15 supported public benefit/mutuals, and 3 Conservatives wanted to strengthen the current system.

In March 117 MPs joined us over the day of events, with 97 MPs and 2 Peers at our Drop In Event. Many are now supporting the overwhelming case for Public Ownership of Water, which the government has refused to consider.

In September 50 MPs joined us over the day of events, all of whom were well informed and supporting public ownership or control and all of whom were seeking further information before the Petition debate on the 14th.

You can spot your MP below from the events .
